IMPLEMENTATION PERIOD: 31.12.2018-31.08.2020
AIM OF THE PROJECT:
The main objective of the Project is to broaden both access to and the available educational offer for people with lower qualifications or low-skilled through the development of competences among adult education specialists (such as employment counselors, adult educators, career advisors, coaches, etc.).
The Project will contribute to development of state-of-the-art comprehensive methods of working with Clients which will translate directly into the quality of support they receive, and ultimately into upskilling of these Clients through their participation in formal and informal education.
The Project envisages examining the pre-existing adult educational solutions developed in partner countries, comparing them and proposing possible adaptations. An innovative element that will be implemented when developing the new support model is the role of an education broker. According to the definition, an educational broker is an advisor who deals with selection of educational services best suited to the needs and capabilities of a Client. An education broker serves as an intermediary between the Client and the training market; and in consultation with the Client proposes the direction, type and level of training that fits best the Client?s profile, taking into account the certification levels, training costs and individual psycho-physical and economic capabilities of every Client.
OUTPUTS OF THE PROJECT:

The Report will describe the actions taken within the Project and present good practices in optimizing the model for developing competences of adult educators in the partnering countries collected during the course of the Project. The Report will be supplemented with conclusions from the pilot training, which will be a complementary material useful for everyone using the training materials created. This output will include tips and tricks as well as results from the trainings and guidelines for the materials developed. The Report will present a list of good practices used in European countries the Project partners come from, together with recommendations regarding their possible implementation, taking into account the results from assessment of the training package pilot run carried out as part of the Project.
